Crockpot, Holiday, Poultry
5 to 6 lb frozen turkey breast thawed
1 large onion, sliced
handful fresh herbs
lemon seasoning
black pepper
garlic powder
2 cups white wine or chicken broth
Olive oil
Spray crockpot with Pam. Place sliced onion in bottom of crock.
Wash & dry thawed turkey breast. Rub all over with olive oil. Season liberally, placing fresh herbs inside. Place breast on it's side atop onions in crockpot. Pour wine or broth around the sides of the breast.
Cover & cook on high about 4 hours, or low for 8-10 hours -- until thermometer reads 180 degrees.
Remove meat from liquid & remove all skin & bones. Cool, & refrigerate overnight. Slice when ready to serve.
If reheating, add a few spoonfuls of the turkey broth & cover tightly.
